Where does Audrose™ get its CBD?
At Audrose™, we source only the very best possible ingredients, balancing science with plant-based ingredients. We only partner with suppliers and labs that share our commitment to quality, sustainability and science-based purification and formulation. We proudly source our CBD from a single ingredient supplier who uses only the highest quality hemp to produce CBD for Audrose™. Our CBD supplier has an in-house analytical lab that tests our ingredient at each stage of processing, which helps us deliver consistent, high-quality skincare products.
Do you use hemp grown without the use synthetic pesticides or fertilizers?
Yes. Our exclusive supplier of CBD sources hemp from US farms that use sustainable practices and do not use synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. See our Certificate of Analysis page here.
How do your suppliers extract the CBD?
Our supplier uses low temperatures and patented technology to gently extract a full plant extract. Each lot is thoroughly tested for residual solvents, heavy metals, pesticides and microbial contamination. See our Certificate of Analysis page here.
Do Audrose™ products contain any THC?
No, our products do not contain detectable levels of THC. Prior to releasing our CBD ingredient, our supplier confirms via third-party testing that the isolate does not contain detectable levels of THC. See our Certificate of Analysis page here.
Is the CBD in Audrose an Isolate or Broad-Spectrum CBD?
CBD isolate commonly refers to cannabidiol in the purest form, isolated from all other compounds and terpenes in a process of refinement. Broad-spectrum commonly refers to a hemp extract that contains most of the full suite of cannabinoids, terpenes, plant matter and flavonoids from the hemp plant, but typically with THC removed.
The CBD ingredient we use in our Serum Concentrate product is 99% CBD Isolate and contains some of the originating plant’s unique terpenes but, as confirmed through third-party testing, does not have detectable levels of THC. See our Certificate of Analysis page here.
The CBD ingredient we use in our Beauty Beads Soft Gels is 78% Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract and contains some of the originating plant’s unique terpenes but, as confirmed through third-party testing, does not have detectable levels of THC. Each soft gel contains 25mg of CBD. See our Certificate of Analysis page here.

What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of more than 100 different known compounds found in hemp and cannabis plants. CBD comes mainly from the flowering tops of cannabis plants. CBD is the second-most abundant cannabinoid in these plants, outranked only by THC (tetrahydrocannibinol). However, unlike THC, CBD is non-inebriating (i.e., it doesn’t produce a “high”). The CBD used in Audrose™ comes from Colorado-grown hemp produced sustainably (and without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers). It has 99% purity but, as confirmed through third-party testing, does not have detectable levels of THC. See our Certificate of Analysis page here.
Is CBD legal?
The 2018 Farm Bill removed hemp (a variety of the plant cannabis sativa L containing not more than 0.3% THC), as well as all hemp extracts and cannabinoids (including CBD). from the federal Controlled Substances Act. As such, hemp is now regulated like any other agricultural commodity and is fully legal under federal law. The legal status of CBD products may vary from state to state. We can only ship our products to states which legally allow the sale of products containing CBD.
Will I get high from Audrose™ products?
No. The THC in cannabis provides the intoxicating effect. Audrose™ uses hemp-derived CBD that is 100% CO-2 extracted resulting in 99% purity. Audrose™ products do not have detectable levels of THC, as confirmed through third- party testing. See our Certificate of Analysis page here.
What’s CBD Isolate?
A CBD isolate is the result of a process that separates and isolates a single cannabinoid – in this instance, CBD from hemp plant material. Our supplier first produces a full-plant extract from the biomass and then uses innovative technology to produce a CBD isolate powder with 99% purity. The final isolate product also retains some of the originating plant’s unique terpenes. Prior to its release, each lot is tested for residual solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins, and microbial contamination as well as to confirm that the ingredient does not have detectable levels of THC.
What is the difference between CBD from hemp and CBD from marijuana?
Hemp and marijuana are of the same species: Cannabis Sativa. Unlike marijuana, hemp has very low levels of THC. Our CBD ingredient is 100% hemp-derived and contains not more than 0.3% THC, consistent with applicable federal law. Indeed, it has 99% purity but, as confirmed through third-party testing, does not have detectable levels of THC. See our Certificate of Analysis page here.
